Dinner with Amber

I went over to Amber's new apartment tonight to have dinner and catch up with her. I brought Potstickers from Trader Joe's and she whipped up a delicious salad. We had a lovely evening laughing and talking. I had been to her place the day she moved in, but wanted to come over and see her house all put together.

I took this picture as I walked out the door to leave to commemorate the occasion.

This is the view from the back sliding glass door into the kitchen.

She has a nice big outdoor space, which is perfect for Odin to lounge in while she is at work.

As you walk in the front door this is her living room.

Odin wanted in on the photo action. He is such a ham!

Kevin is away in Alaska doing some science stuff and Amber is taking care of his turtle, Andy. Andy, I found out during our dinner conversation, is named for Andy Dufresne from the Shawshank Redemption, because he is always trying to escape.

I had a great time, as I always do with Amber, she is one of my favorite people on the planet, it's nice that she lives right down the street!
