She is a darling little girl and has all the creature comforts every baby doesn't really need, but the parents want to give. This kid had more clothes in her closet than I do.

The cake was served as soon as I got there to accommodate Siena's nap.

She was confused by the cake and wanted to share some with Peggy.

Once Siena was finished and off to bed, Peggy's granddaughter, Danika had her turn for some lunch. Danika's Aunt Siena is two months older than she is. Danika was a perfectly happy baby and Dustin seemed to really enjoy his role as Daddy.

After the babies were down for naps, the usual playing of games began. It was a rather cool day, temperatures topping out in the high 50's, and Cornhole was played till the wind came up and drove everyone inside to play cards. Peggy had a great yard for dogs and kids and there were plenty of both to enjoy the space.

I had not seen many of the Kohouteks in a long time, and oddly enough in all the years we have known them, I never met Lynnette, the oldest sister, in person. Today was the day, and there is no way she could have denied being one of them. Gloria had some pretty potent genetic material.

Frank brought his newly printed first book of short stories to the gathering, and I spent a bit of time talking to him about the self publishing process. He tells me his next book is a novel.

Peggy was lining up the kids for pictures and I just jumped in at the opportunity to snap a few myself.

Much to the dismay of everyone involved, Scooter lives.

Overall, it was a lovely afternoon. Peggy and Eddie have a lovely home and Eddie's parents came in from Elko, where they have lived for 55 years, to cook a fine feast of carne asada, rice, beans, tortillas, and salsas to die for. It was a fun day with lots of laughter, so how can one ask for more than that, unh?
