Life is Good

OK, my income just went up exponentially shifting to my new schedule, yeah, I am pretty damn happy about it. And...I am only working 4 days a week, this is perfection.

But my body, has been on a long hiatus from hours of walking, carrying, bending, stocking, blah, blah. The sitting around reading a book at work days are over. Truthfully, I am glad. I had forgotten how good it feels to really work a room.

However, I had to come home and soak my feet and use the chi machine every day just to be able to walk the next day. All my tray carrying muscles are wide awake. By Tuesday night I was OK, still feeling it, yet, feeling good, like that after a work out feel, very awake and alive.

Then, I decided to take a short jaunt to Oakland on my days off, and continued the daily work out with Jump it Up,( and oh, yeah, I jumped, climbed and slid with the best of them) ; catching and tossing small children over off and on; crawling on the floor for several hours trying not to step on the train track with my big feet or knock over a bridge with my butt, while continuing to maintain circulation in the lower half of my legs. I spent a good deal of time treading water in the pool at Sherry's. And it was all glorious.

I was a little stiff when I got up this morning. I am sure topping the visit off with a three and a half hour drive had a bit to do with that. I have a pretty shredded up toe from the bottom of the pool which I kind of thought may be an issue, but today - nope -my feet are tired, but, I felt great at work and feel pretty good now, all on about 5 hours sleep. I know it is the energy I am carrying from the love fest I just had with Michael and Rachel's kids carrying me through.

More to come on the Oakland trip, I have to go through all of the pictures.

Life is so good for me right now, I am just trying to breath deeply and enjoy the moments of the day as they flow to me and through me. I can do anything I want! How cool is that?
