New Furniture

Last Saturday, David and Betsy's new living room furniture was delivered. It was a happy day for all, although seeing furniture in a showroom and seeing it in your house are two very different things. They were both surprised at how large the chair felt and that the love seat seemed small. After some consideration, the decision was made to move the pottery shelf out of the family room and into the living room so it and it's counter part could flank the love seat and give the room some balance.

The little brown table next to the chair is mine and just marking space. There will be more shopping to do with this room much to Betsy's delight and David's chagrin, but bless his heart, he will do anything to make her happy.

Of course, now there is a big blank space in the family room that will need to be filled. Oh goody, more shopping! For the time being we (David) moved Kayla's Palm in there, but since that palm tree will move when I do, it is certainly a temporary remedy. Although with the job market the way it is, I have been teasing David that I may be here after all the kids move out and want to put in my request for Jazimin's room. This comment illicits only the weakest of smiles from David even when I assure him I am joking. So sad. I am hoping he is not regretting his decision to let me come here. I just keep applying for every job I can and praying alot.
